Dr. Michaud was born and raised in Presque Isle, Maine, where she was exposed to optometry at a young age when she first started wearing glasses and contact lenses in the 6th grade. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science from UNH in 2015. She graduated from the New England College of Optometry in 2019 and subsequently completed a residency within the VA Maine Healthcare System. She has experience managing many ocular diseases, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. She enjoys volunteer work and has participated in two optometric outreach trips, one in the Dominican Republic and another in Mexico. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, spending time with her cat Cleo, and trying new restaurants in the Seacoast area.
